General Terms

Version 1.0 · Last updated 6 August 2026 · Effective from 6 August 2026

1. About We Are Family

We Are Family is a brand operated by WeFam Systems Private Limited. In these policies, “We Are Family” and “WeFam Systems Private Limited” are together referred to as “WAF”, “we”, “us” or “our”, as the context requires.

The registered address is Survey No 4 & 6, Whisper Valley, Dargah Hussain Shahwali, Golconda, Hyderabad, Telangana, India 500008.

Customer support: support@wearefamily.in

WhatsApp support: +91 93919 45674. Messages are monitored from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays observed by WAF in India. Response times may vary depending on the nature and volume of requests.

2. How these terms apply

These General Terms apply to WAF websites, products, programmes, services, communities, resources and customer interactions unless a Product-Specific Policy states otherwise.

When a customer purchases or joins an offering, the applicable agreement may include these General Terms, the relevant Product-Specific Policy, the Privacy Policy, and any participation or community rules expressly identified before purchase or enrolment.

Where a Product-Specific Policy expressly conflicts with these General Terms, the Product-Specific Policy applies only to that specific subject and offering. These General Terms continue to apply in all other respects.

Each policy will display a version number, Last Updated date and, where different, an Effective From date. Material changes affecting existing purchasers or active participants will be communicated through a reasonable direct-notice method where practicable.

3. Eligibility, enrolment and account use

Purchasers must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a contract. Where participation by a minor is expressly permitted, enrolment and consent must be completed by a parent or legal guardian.

Customers and participants must provide accurate, current and complete information where reasonably required for registration, payment, eligibility, safeguarding, personalisation, communication or participation.

WAF may request correction or verification where information appears false, misleading, outdated or materially incomplete. Serious misrepresentation, fraud, safety concerns, non-payment or material policy breaches may result in refusal, restriction, suspension or cancellation.

Accounts, login credentials, programme access, digital content and personalised outputs are personal and non-transferable unless the applicable offering expressly permits couple, family, household or team participation.

Customers are responsible for maintaining compatible devices, a reasonably stable internet connection, supported software and the basic technical capability required to access online offerings.

4. Purchases, pricing and payment

A purchase or enrolment is confirmed when WAF receives successful payment, completes any applicable checks and issues an enrolment or order confirmation.

Prices are ordinarily displayed in Indian Rupees and, unless expressly stated otherwise, are inclusive of applicable GST. The final amount shown at checkout is the amount payable through that transaction, subject to any independent banking or currency-conversion charges imposed by the customer’s provider.

WAF may change future prices, discounts and promotional offers. A change will not alter the price of a purchase already completed and confirmed.

Where payment fails, remains incomplete, is reversed or is not received, WAF may withhold, restrict or suspend access. Verified duplicate payments will be corrected through an appropriate refund or adjustment.

WAF may issue invoices, receipts, credit notes and other transaction records electronically.

5. Access and delivery

Digital access may be delivered through email, account activation, a download link, a third-party platform or another method stated for the offering.

The applicable Product-Specific Policy or purchase information will state the expected delivery method, access commencement date and access period.

WAF may migrate an offering to another platform where reasonably necessary, provided the replacement remains materially comparable for the remaining access period.

Customers must keep passwords and access credentials confidential and promptly notify WAF of suspected unauthorised access.

WAF may apply reasonable restrictions on downloads, devices, account sharing, copying, offline access and simultaneous logins to protect content, platform security and authorised use.

Where a substantial or prolonged WAF-controlled failure materially prevents access, WAF may extend access, reschedule delivery, provide a replacement, issue an appropriate credit or refund the affected undelivered portion.

6. Cancellations, refunds and credits

WAF does not provide a universal cooling-off or change-of-mind refund period for every offering. Any voluntary refund window, satisfaction period or change-of-mind facility will be stated in the applicable Product-Specific Policy.

Digital downloads, personalised outputs and immediately accessible digital content will ordinarily become non-refundable once delivered, downloaded, generated or materially accessed, unless the product is defective, materially misdescribed, not delivered as promised, or a remedy is required by law.

Where WAF cancels an offering, it may first offer a reasonable rescheduled date or a substantially equivalent replacement. If WAF cannot provide a reasonable alternative, the customer will be entitled to a refund for the undelivered portion.

Where WAF makes a material change that significantly disadvantages the customer, WAF will offer an appropriate transfer, credit, alternative or refund for the affected undelivered portion.

Refund requests should be submitted through support@wearefamily.in with the purchaser’s name, registered contact details, offering or order details, payment reference and reason for the request.

Once a refund is approved, WAF will ordinarily initiate or process it within 14 calendar days. The time taken for the amount to appear in the customer’s account may depend on the bank, card issuer, payment gateway or other payment provider.

7. Live sessions, communities and participant conduct

Participants must follow stated schedules and participation instructions and avoid conduct that disrupts delivery or the experience of others.

Participants must behave respectfully, lawfully and responsibly across WAF sessions, communities, platforms and communication channels.

Prohibited conduct includes harassment, threats, intimidation, bullying, hate speech, discriminatory abuse, sexual misconduct, stalking, impersonation, fraud, spam, unauthorised solicitation, unlawful activity and deliberate interference with WAF systems.

Participants must not disclose or share another participant’s private story, identity, image, personal information, messages, screenshots, recordings or session disclosures outside the authorised WAF space without express permission.

Participants must not record, photograph, screenshot, screen-record, livestream, download, reproduce or create an unauthorised transcript of a live session, private community space or participant content unless WAF and any materially affected participants have expressly permitted it.

WAF may warn, restrict, suspend or remove a participant where reasonably necessary to address serious or repeated policy breaches, harassment, threats, confidentiality breaches, unsafe conduct, misuse of content or platforms, unlawful activity or material disruption.

8. Educational and coaching boundaries

Unless an offering is expressly described otherwise, WAF content, communities, courses, workshops, coaching tools and resources are provided for general educational, developmental and reflective purposes.

They do not constitute or replace personalised medical, psychiatric, psychological, legal, financial or other regulated professional diagnosis, treatment or advice.

WAF provides educational and developmental support for families and relationships; it is not a crisis, safeguarding, emergency-response or specialist intervention service. Where there is immediate danger, suspected abuse, coercive control, risk of self-harm or harm to another person, or another urgent family or relationship safety concern, the affected person should promptly contact the appropriate emergency service, law-enforcement authority, safeguarding service, qualified professional or trusted person able to provide immediate assistance.

WAF does not guarantee any particular relationship, parenting, family, health, emotional, financial, professional or personal outcome. Outcomes vary according to individual circumstances, suitability, participation, implementation and factors outside WAF’s control.

Questionnaires, assessments, scores, recommendations and personalised reports are educational and reflective tools unless expressly stated otherwise. They are not clinical diagnoses, medical tests, psychological evaluations or definitive measurements of a person, relationship or family.

9. Intellectual property and permitted use

WAF or its licensors retain all rights in WAF names, trademarks, logos, branding, course materials, written and audiovisual content, methods, frameworks, assessments, questionnaires, reports, designs, illustrations, recordings, software, websites, platforms and databases.

Subject to payment and compliance with the applicable policies, WAF grants the customer a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and non-sublicensable licence to access and use purchased content for the stated private purpose and access period.

Customers must not copy, reproduce, distribute, share, lend, sell, resell, license, publicly display, publish, upload, transmit, adapt, translate, modify or create commercial derivative works from WAF content except where expressly permitted in writing or allowed by law.

A personal-use purchase does not permit a coach, counsellor, educator, healthcare professional, organisation or other person to reproduce, administer, teach, distribute or use WAF materials with clients, patients, students, employees, members or groups.

10. Participant content and recordings

Participants retain ownership of original content they submit, subject to any rights belonging to other persons and the limited licence granted to WAF for operational use.

By submitting content to a WAF offering, the participant grants WAF a limited licence to host, store, reproduce, transmit, display, format, technically process, moderate and make limited operational adaptations only as reasonably necessary to provide, administer, secure, improve and support the relevant offering.

This operational licence does not authorise WAF to use identifiable participant content, quotations, images, personal stories or success stories in advertising or public promotion. Such use requires separate consent.

WAF may record a live session only where participants have been clearly informed that recording will occur and the purpose, access, sharing and expected retention have been explained.

Use of an identifiable participant’s name, image, voice, quotation, personal story or contribution in advertising, public promotion, social media, testimonials or future commercial course material requires separate, clear and specific consent.

11. Communications and marketing

WAF may send communications reasonably necessary to administer or deliver an offering, including messages concerning registration, payment, account access, schedules, reminders, session links, changes, cancellations, safety, security, support, policy updates and fulfilment.

Transactional and service communications are distinct from promotional marketing and may continue where reasonably necessary even after a user has opted out of marketing.

12. Third-party services and links

WAF may use or link to third-party platforms, payment providers, communication services, venues, facilitators and other service providers.

Those third parties may operate under their own terms, privacy policies, availability commitments and technical requirements.

WAF does not control every aspect of an independent third-party service and is not responsible for a third party’s separate acts, omissions, content, policies or service interruptions except to the extent responsibility arises under applicable law or from WAF’s own acts or omissions.

13. Availability and changes

WAF may prospectively update, replace, modify or discontinue products, content, platforms, features, schedules, facilitators or delivery methods where reasonably necessary for improvement, safety, legal compliance, operational viability or circumstances beyond WAF’s reasonable control.

WAF will not materially reduce a core paid benefit already purchased without providing an appropriate remedy, which may include continued access, a reasonably equivalent replacement, an extension, account credit, partial refund or other fair resolution.

14. Liability and risk allocation

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, WAF will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary or consequential loss that was not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed, including loss of opportunity, profits, goodwill or data.

Where liability may lawfully be limited, WAF’s aggregate contractual liability arising from a particular paid offering will ordinarily not exceed the total amount paid by the customer for that offering during the relevant claim period.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including mandatory consumer rights and liability arising from fraud or other legally non-excludable conduct.

Customers remain responsible for deciding how to apply general educational information to their own circumstances and for obtaining appropriate professional advice where needed.

15. Complaints, disputes and governing law

Customers should first submit a complaint or grievance through support@wearefamily.in with sufficient information for WAF to understand and investigate the issue.

WAF should acknowledge receipt within two working days and ordinarily provide a meaningful initial response within three working days. Where the matter cannot reasonably be resolved within that period, WAF will communicate the next step or a reasonable target timeframe.

If a matter remains unresolved, the parties may attempt good-faith negotiation or mutually agreed mediation before commencing formal proceedings. This does not prevent either party from seeking urgent relief or exercising a statutory right.

The agreement is governed by Indian law. Subject to applicable consumer law and mandatory jurisdiction rules, courts at Hyderabad, Telangana will have jurisdiction over disputes properly falling within their jurisdiction.

16. General legal provisions

The agreement consists of the purchase confirmation, applicable Product-Specific Policy, these General Terms, the Privacy Policy and any participation or community rules expressly incorporated before purchase.

If an inconsistency exists, customer-specific commercial details in the purchase confirmation apply first, followed by the Product-Specific Policy, these General Terms, the Privacy Policy for personal-data matters, and incorporated operational rules.

If any provision is held unlawful, invalid or unenforceable, it will be enforced to the maximum extent lawfully permissible and, where necessary, severed without affecting the remaining provisions.

A failure or delay in exercising a right does not by itself constitute a waiver.

Electronic acceptance, confirmations, invoices, communications and acceptance logs may be maintained and used as evidence of the transaction, subject to applicable law.

Neither these terms nor participation in a WAF offering creates an employment, partnership, agency, fiduciary, doctor-patient, therapist-client, lawyer-client, financial-adviser-client or other regulated professional relationship unless expressly stated and separately arranged.

A party will not be treated as having breached the agreement to the extent performance is prevented or materially delayed by an event beyond its reasonable control that could not reasonably have been avoided or overcome. Where a material paid benefit cannot be delivered within a reasonable period, WAF will provide an appropriate remedy for the undelivered portion.

17. Acceptance and policy updates

Customers should affirmatively accept the General Terms and applicable Product-Specific Policies electronically at checkout, registration or first access using a clear unticked checkbox, acceptance button or comparable affirmative action.

WAF should retain a reliable electronic record identifying the customer or transaction, the document versions accepted, the date and time of acceptance and the acceptance action taken.

Material changes affecting an existing paid service should not be imposed through silence or continued use alone. Where required, WAF should obtain affirmative consent or provide an appropriate option to continue, cancel or receive another fair remedy.

18. Language, accessibility and safeguarding

WAF may provide translations to improve accessibility. Unless a translated version is expressly identified as authoritative, the English version will ordinarily govern if there is an inconsistency.

WAF will make reasonable efforts to improve the accessibility of its websites, digital materials, communications, events and services and will consider reasonable accommodation requests in good faith.

Where WAF reasonably suspects abuse, exploitation, neglect, self-harm, violence or another serious risk to a person’s safety or wellbeing, WAF may take proportionate safeguarding action, including restricting participation, preserving relevant information, escalating internally or contacting appropriate services where required by law or reasonably necessary to protect a person from serious harm.

7. Live sessions, communities and participant conduct

Participants must follow stated schedules and participation instructions and avoid conduct that disrupts delivery or the experience of others.

Participants must behave respectfully, lawfully and responsibly across WAF sessions, communities, platforms and communication channels.
